n. a people-centered, systems-thinking content designer.
I'm passionate about real communication among humans. My experience stretches from creative writing to natural and computer languages, to linguistics, teaching English, and localization. These days, I'm deep into content design and design systems, with a touch of artificial intelligence. As I find myself in different spheres, my motivation remains constant: I want to improve how we make meaning together.
I get excited about finding the connection points in everything and making sure they jibe.
I enjoy empowering folks to craft great user experiences because the tools they need are baked into the systems they work in.
I get loud about inclusion and creating processes and products that account for everyone.
And I'm reclaiming wordsmith.
Currently, I help build the design system at Microsoft to make creating cohesive product experiences that much easier for our community of makers. In doing so, I make sure language gets its fair shake as a design tool.
